Jumbo Capital Incorporated (“Jumbo") is a privately held, value focused, commercial real estate investment firm located in Quincy, MA.

The firm was founded in 2009 by Jay Hirsh, who left Boston-based New Boston Fund, Inc. in order to pursue investment opportunities brought about by the “great recession". Jumbo has since grown to over 30 people with senior leadership having over 80+ years of commercial real estate experience.

Jumbo has the ability to invest in all property types and focuses on a range of transactions from $15-$300 million. Currently, the firm manages 4 million square feet of commercial real estate in the greater Boston area.
Jumbo Capital invests in high quality, well located commercial and residential real estate throughout the New England region. We partner with institutions, family offices and high net-worth individuals. Jumbo has invested in excess of $1 billion across 50 properties in the Greater Boston region.

Jumbo Capital Inc's s asset management team focuses on creating value throughout our portfolio; providing top of market amenities and Tenant space for our clients to grow and thrive. JCI has executed on dozens of value-add projects throughout our portfolio including lobby and amenities upgrade, adaptive re-use office to lab conversions and campus expansion opportunities. Over our history, JCI has overseen millions of square feet of Tenant Improvement projects including but not limited to office, flex, clean manufacturing, advanced R&D, R&D wet labs including BSL-2/3 and clean rooms space.
Jumbo Capital Inc's property management group, with a combined 100 years of senior management experience, is one of the largest in Greater Boston. JCI manages over 4 million square feet of office, lab/life science, flex, industrial/warehouse, and residential space for Jumbo Capital and third-party clients throughout the region. We are a collaborative, cross-functional team with advanced technical, analytical, communication, and customer service skills that is committed to delivering results on time within budget, to maximizing asset performance by increasing operational efficiency and efficacy, and to managing capital projects and complex initiatives that preserve and increase asset value.
